Imprisoned Freedom

Photographic project exhibited at the national FIAF (Italian Federation of Photographic Associations) exhibition in Carpi (MO), Italy, on the theme “Totems and Taboos”. The ropes dig into the skin, pain mingles with pleasure, transcending the boundaries of traditional sexuality. The body is captive, yet free. The mind is immersed in a complete sensory experience. It is a journey of self-discovery, through the diversity of human desire and the many facets of one’s own sexuality. A path towards self-acceptance, free from prejudice and the social norms that can imprison more than the ropes themselves. Torino, Italy.
